@kaiser-permanente.bsky.social why aren't you posting on BlueSky yet? I don't see why you can't just duplicate what you post on X. This place seems more aligned with mission of the wonderful organization I worked for for 10 years.

@abc7.bsky.social I need to give you props for the fire coverage. The Tim guy who hiked to the top of Reseda is really good, as was the chopper person last few days. Much of the local coverage is terrible, with content-free sentimental and insensitive filler, but your coverage has been a bit better.

It might just be me, but I've found local TV news coverage of the LA fires to be mostly terrible. It's low on information and high on disaster porn/drama, and a fair bit of it has been wildly misleading. They cannot shake their bog standard reporting templates for this critical event.

Facebook is evil, designed to create negative engagement for the express purpose of selling us shit. They can't even get a basic connection between Messenger on my phone and my laptop. I just want to connect with my friends who are wondering how I'm doing in the wildfire. Not better, thanks.
