Second L&M album Strange Kind of Love is a classic. Produced by Gary Katz who produced Steely Dan. Some of the song writing on it is amazing. James performs with Bernard Butler and Norman Blake at shows where they play each other's songs acoustically. Well worth seeing if you get a chance.

Yeah I have heard of them think the singer (Chris Thomson?) was also in a band called Friends Again with James Grant from Love and Money (another Scottish band who should have been much bigger than they were)

GMM were defitely one of those bands who should have been much bigger than they were. The Rattler is a classic single and the debut album Good Deeds and Dirty Rags is fantastic

Not like Garbage at all Paul. Similar vibe to GMM (in fact they redo Candlestick Park from GMM debut album with Shirley on vocal). I really liked this as a album

Angelfish - Angelfish Off shoot of Goodbye Mr MacKenzie with Shirley Manson on lead vocals. Guys from Garbage saw Shirley with Angelfish on MTV (Suffocate Me) and the rest is history
