I felt the same way at first but this post made me rethink things. Basically it could possibly be alternative for a 25 year wait-list for NHS care but still receive other NHS care. Especially if you only need to be using the service for a few months to get a prescription.

I imagine a lot of the utility of this will come if you have a half-decent GP, who aren’t allowed to prescribe HRT but who can (I think? still?) fill private prescriptions obtained with a ‘real’ diagnosis and use that diagnosis to make other referrals within the system.

I mean I was there with you but upon researching it a bit and fully internalizing how patchwork th UK trans care is I've soften a bit. It's still not great and should the price should be on a sliding scale. If you can just pay for few few months and then take a diagnosis to a GP then it's an -
