"Hilton values" should not include providing housing-for-hire for regime agents who daily violate the rights not only of immigrants, but U.S. citizens as well.

Sometimes, you just need to watch two Border Collies playing gently to be reminded that real life is about treasuring moments of joy. 😎 #dogs #BorderCollies

I'd prefer an inherent contempt measure targeting Bondi for telling agents to ignore the Bill of Rights re: ICE operations, etc. but here we are.

The FBI's organizational pathologies have existed for decades. A key one is literally lying about the existence of records that reveal FBI failures to investigate detailed, credible allegations of violations of federal law. #EpsteinFiles

With all due respect to Judge Brown, we've been here before. On the left, screencap of SSCI Torture Report Summary. On the right, screencap from the NYT piece.

She's right: TSA is a poster child for the unconstitutional, coercive administrative state. The question is whether her father, Transportation Secretary Duffy, will go to Trump & seek TSA's abolition. I'm not holding my breath.

As seen at Whiffletree Farm in Warrenton, VA this past weekend. Makes our patio fire pit look puny by comparison. A great place to visit if you ever happen to be in northern VA.

Imagine you're a state legislator and mobs are threatening to kill you if you don't going along with a partisan gerrymander the president is demanding you support. Trump's America, 2025.

Mia on the left, Jack on the right. They've been with us for years but Monday night was the first time I actually saw them laying against one another. Normally, Jack is Mia's practice target. 😎 #BorderCollies

Back to basics. TSA has no need to know who you are & where you're going unless you're wanted for a federal crime. REAL ID should be repealed, and TSA should be downsized to nothing more than a "red team" that covertly tests airline security measures.

Plainclothes ICE agent stops woman following & recording him & brandishes his firearm at her. Fullerton PD cop shows up, refuses to arrest woman as she'd committed no crime...but fails to arrest ICE agent for brandishing a weapon.

Not quite at "rebellion in the ranks" stage yet over Trump's pretextual NG call ups, but this is a promising sign. #NationalGuard

Mamdani is getting a lot of the coverage because he won the highest office in NYC. As far as I'm concerned, the VA lieutenant governor race outcome is at least as important if not more so. A Muslim woman won statewide office in the former heart of the Confederacy.

A lot of the proposals in this piece would require enactment of one or more constitutional amendments, something none of us will likely live to see. The one I've highlighted could be achieved via the regular legislative process with simple majorities.

This is page 1 of the memo featured in the story. Notice the chrono of the listed policy documents. The Sep. 25 Hegseth memo referenced clearly indicates to me that this massive increase in NG nation-wide troop deployments has been in the works for months before the first limited call ups. 2/
