Last winter, we heard from many snowed-in residents who couldn’t get to work, school, doctor’s appointments, etc. because of road conditions. Especially in District 5’s outermost neighborhoods like Lincoln Place and New Homestead, it often took multiple days before streets were salted or plowed.

Heads up, Hazelwood: Pittsburgh Water will be performing overnight maintenance tonight around 11PM, related to a hydrant project on S. Neville St. About 1,800 customers (in the green area of the attached image) may experience lower water pressure overnight. Work should be complete before 7 AM 💧
