Blame the Internet and Globalization, but... were there ever distinct political cultures? Perhaps it has always been like this, and we're now just figuring out how insanely simple and similar things were worldwide.

Technology is still cool, you're just jaded. The issue with the "resistance" here is that they're far from being mentally well adjusted, especially when compared to their opposition. So if you don't align yourself with either camps you're essentially stuck in Persona Non Grata Limbo for eternity.

The Web 2.0 expired some 10 years or so ago, many people stopped caring and realized no real discourse is needed as long as you can feed into the constant cycle of negativity. I'd argue the Internet never had a reliable way of idea expression to begin with.

Words have no meaning anymore. What is this dude even on about? There is no "Industry", you're an Indie developer, it's in the name, it means Independent. You choose the price you wanna sell your games at, where and when! You're not in a competition and this is not a sport! 🤦
