We have been hearing that "the AI bubble will burst any day now" for a while but the desperate way every ad tried to make AI seems useful is the first real sign I think ive seen that this really is true. Hopefully this will be the year it finally happens.

Idk. A lot of the narrative surrounding her is stupid ill give you that but at what point does this graduate from a story of determination and grit to a tragedy that could have been prevented

The fact we embrace our history warts and all is not a point of national shame. It is a point of national pride. It shows were are willing to face out mistakes head on instead of trying to sweep them under the rug. That we teach our previous mistakes to prevent the same ones in the future.

Youre not wrong. My issue with Newsom is that of he is elected he will refuse to hold any of the MAGA officials accountable because thats what his corpo overlords want. He has proven in California that he will always put his donors intrests above anything else

Saying otherwise. Let's just use logic. Slaves outnumber thier owners considerably. As such the thing a slave owner fears most os a slave rebellion. Wouldn't you punish anyone stepping a toe out of line as harshly as possible to prevent this? Using methods that would only prevent work for a few days

Its because their corporate donors want this funding to go through because they have investments in the companies building and operating ICE's concentration camps as well as the defense contractors providing ICE with all of their military and surveillance equipment. Its stupid on the dems part
