This bird was being chased by a hummingbird and took shelter behind my wife. It even briefly landed in her ponytail.

Found this little kitten starving and angry hiding in the hedge. Managed to catch it, feed it, and hand it off to a feral cat rescue shelter.

Westwood Lake in Nanaimo. Great trail for biking or walking that loops around the entire lake (about 6km). Awesome family beach area for swimming and hanging out.
