If she realizes this is about the case, explain that you're glad she thought of you, but sad that she was fooled into buying fake art. Maybe you guys can cover the AI art in stickers or paint it yourselves.

Depends on how mature your tween is.

If she can appreciate the explanation that you are morally opposed to generative art and all its evils, then this becomes a teaching moment and something you can bond over. Don't mention the case at all - it's more important to educate than to hurt her feelings.
