Sometimes the best gifts are the gift of time. I used to give my late neighbour gifts of labour for snow shovelling and gardening. She always gave me a tray of date squares. After the work party, we would sit and have tea and cookies and talk. I miss that.

Another LOL moment.

Buy him a few with same words in different colours. Love that he is proud of your achievements. When my nephew graduated with a masters, I sent a gift to his mother. Her dedication to his education since childhood fuelled his success.

There’s a YouTuber who challenges their belief with scripture and they walk away. I suspect many Christians have not read the bible nor the books they want to ban. Have you noticed that WWJD (what would Jesus do) is no longer in current lexicon - too hard for them to reflect.

Guaranteed to be a best seller. It will be a series. Substitute other words for ‘parenting’ like marriage, cancer, pregnancy, and for ‘kids’ vows, health. Love my family, and learning to establish boundaries with those who meddle is ongoing. It will never end. Keep strong.

Nothing like a walk in the evening during a snow fall. Sounds are muffled, the smell is clean and fresh.

Finally they elected someone who is young and energetic.

Thank you for putting a smile on my face. The wagging tail…🥰

Rare earth metals. Every country that Trump is eyeing militarily has rare earth metals. All wars are about a grab of a country’s earth resources. All the other justifications are lies. Rare earth metals are in Columbia too. No wonder the leaders of electronic industries support him.

Let’s hope it backfires on retail. I’m not buying any Christmas decorations this year from two stores because they had them out two weeks before Canadian Thanksgiving which was on Oct 13. Traditionally in Canada Christmas decorations went out after November 11,
Remembrance Day. Lack of respect.

Good for them for standing up for equitable wages and benefits. They know the value of their work.

And child labour. Think that could be the plan?

It’s the fall blue sky that sets it off. Perfect shot.

Yes. His presence in this country is not required. He shows a lack of intelligence needed for diplomatic relations. Leave Hoekstra!

A sad reflection on the times.

Another one that captures the time we live in.

My grandmother taught that the mark of a morally corrupt society is one that ignores the basic needs of others. I vote for higher taxes when it’s for education, food and housing, healthcare and other needed services. I wish we could direct our taxes to the services we want. Genie?

Next plot of a Harlequin Romance, Christmas at the Hamptons. The first scene they meet at the vending machine when the last block of a cheese she covets is taken by a man, who’s a chef working at an inn she just inherited from her estranged aunt. The last scene is the kiss at the vending machine.

It forces us to think hard about getting new trading partners and investing in 🇨🇦. US controlled companies in 🇨🇦 have left before. Defence contractors left Canada in the 80’s when the🇨🇦 government removed preferential bidding clauses for companies manufacturing in Canada.

Perfectly explained.

I looked it up. It’s native to Japan and Korea. I hope it is not in garden centres in North America. We do not need another fast spreading species.
