Just finished Thunderstruck. It came together very well. Suicides is really interesting, but I don’t love the narrator choice. It seems like a gimmick that’s not needed. I have not heard of those recs. I’ll look into them.

I haven’t seen Out of Sight in a long time. I want to watch it again, but just remembering the casting, I feel like there was some correction. But I could be wrong. Also, I only saw the first season but I enjoyed the Get Shorty tv series from about 10(?) years ago. The Get Shorty movie was fun too.

We already started book two. She wanted to hear the first chapter immediately. She also checked out a physical copy from her school library today at read it to her friends. Both of Roz’s sacrifices, to let him go and to give up herself, are gut wrenching. But as a parent, they are both so necessary.
