George really is very immature. You can see why Amber might be attracted to Brad. He's thoughtful, caring, kind, bright, studies hard. He seems to be going places! George is a jailbird with no job, no money and no qualifications. Poor chap! He's not an attractive proposition!

The cottage I was talking about that we used to rent was in a hamlet called Rinsey nr Porthleven. There's no pub and all the houses were pretty much owned by locals. That was 30 years ago. Now all the cottages have been done up and are rented out. The place has completely changed. Sadly

I think radio drama relies on various tools to let the listener in on what's going on when they can't actually see it. So I think it was very important how Brad saw what happened and the way he related it to Ed and Emma.
