Another new set of receivers at the Goonhilly WebSDR site - this time for the motus.org Wildlife tracking project.
A set of four (N,S,E,W) UHF yagis with RTL-SDRs on a Raspberry Pi will allow them to detect any tagged species migrating across the Lizard peninsula.

Updating the operating system of the server switched off old insecure TLS ciphers - which broke some windows software using the FFT Websocket connection (QuickTune, LiveTune, OpenTuner, etc.)

This has now been resolved by re-enabling the old TLSv1.0/1.1 ciphers. (yay legacy software!)

An upcoming scheduled power outage at the Goonhilly WebSDR site means this'll be reset soon..

FYI we have resolved the 2m-band RFI issue on the Goonhilly VHF WebSDR. Culprit seems to have been a misbehaving SMPSU that is cooperating after being remotely re-powered.

Feeling plenty of nostalgia from these old IQ recordings of the ISS HamTV downlink recorded during ARISS Principia in 2016.
(I've started testing our latest generation of DATV receivers with the multi-groundstation TS-merger, to be ready for the repaired TX in orbit soon 🤞 !)
