Absolutely wild to realise that this happened in a place I’ve walked past hundreds of times in the few years we’ve been here, and what an impact that event and these incredible artists had on the world.

Further fun fact.. apparently Dylan saw this and it convinced him to go electric at his next gig at the Free Trade Hall in town (to much uproar and outrage at the time).

The moment I realised was when I realised Montreal was further south than Manchester in the UK. Montreal gets very cold in the winter (it was -15 Celsius at that time) and in Manchester it was 3 degrees Celsius. The current as I understand it blows warm air up into Europe that keeps it warmer

That sounds sensible, it is quite literally Baltic there!

I think it is - we saw a few places along the waterfront that were cordoned off for swimming. I wasn’t brave enough to try though!
