This is a good debate to have I think. I would love everyone on board with every progressive cultural standpoint, but it isn't the case. Then there's the question on how tolerant you should be vs those who aren't.
mcBride's argument and the argument that Mark is reposting is that the left became intolerant and refused to engage in dialogue, alienating anyone who didn't meet a "purity test". even people on the left were alienated by such absolutist rhetoric. again, this is McBride pointing it out.
