I used Claude Code to write a couple of complicated js hooks that would have taken me like a week to write on my own.

A problem with AI code is that if there’s an existing incorrect assumption, the AI will just persevere with what you asked it, rather than fixing the underlying problem.

The AI dev tooling that has been launched in the last 12 months is insane.
Software development is a complex field, so it's not like these tools have started with a simple job.
It feels inevitable that every job is going to be changed.
