Trains are the best way to travel. And even better in the colder month of the year. Nairn takes the real Orient Express. And not what became the 'American Express.'

Netanyahu said that an Iranian nuclear strike on Israel would be like “10,000 tons of TNT falling on a country the size of New Jersey (22,610 km2).”

Israel has dropped 200,000 tonnes of explosives on Gaza (365 km2) - the equivalent of 20 nukes on 1.6% the size of New Jersey.

His story was the film. Unless I've remembered incorrectly.

I remember in the 80's travelling by Israeli bus from Cairo to Israel. The vehicle left a guarded compound & was similarly escorted by Egyptian soldiers to the Israeli border. A middle aged Israeli couple were returning home. We had dinner with them in Haifa. "We just to want to live in peace."

I've found these snaps. The book has gone missing. Must be somewhere.

I think they look quite chic actually. Nice bags, neat and tidy. Why not?

Yes, I have one. And other cloth items from the Levant. An Egyptian collapsible tarboush takes pride of place. A couple of Jewish items as well.

I don't think this montage of words will ever be beaten. A zombie ode to overtourism and a holy grail of TripAdvisor trite.

"Forget the usual tourist spots - Italy is full of extraordinary places still under the radar. These 10 underrated gems deserve a top spot on your travel bucket list." ⚰️

"Despite the hesitations of recent months & protests, #Israel will participate in the 61st International Art Exhibition in #Venice with an installation at the Arsenale".

You couldn't make it up. The pariah State takes over Venice's iconic war shipyard to show off some pretty pictures. 🙈🙉🙊

Whatever Hezza says, for me, I totally agree with it.

If this is true, then he should stand down.

"We cannot afford to forget the lessons of history. The rise of fascism across Europe, and even in our own streets, was only stopped by visionaries such as Jean Monnet, Robert Schuman and Winston Churchill, who worked to create a united Europe - an alliance based on cooperation, not empire."
Hezza.
