Today's walk took me from Lower Heswall to Parkgate, then on to Neston, for the train home. Lots of bright sunshine 🌞

My lovely neighbours have gone early again with their Christmas decorations. I've noticed quite a few on our estate already - think people want to distract themselves from all the gloom in the world right now, so good on them 🌲👍

West Kirby, Wirral

A short walk this lunchtime, from Heswall to Thurstaston, along the top path. Autumnal colours very much fading now as nature prepares for winter, but pleasant to be out in the sunshine, despite the biting cold when in the shade. 🌞🥶

Something a bit more cheery on a November day where it hardly feels like it ever got light ...... Wirral flower boats 🪻🌷🛶

Up on to Grange Hill, West Kirby today. The footpath back towards the top of Grange Road provides a commanding view of the house that featured on Channel 4's 'Grand Designs'. Personally, I'm somewhat ambivalent about modern buildings in general, but I do like this one 👍

Up onto Thurstaston Hill and along to Royden Park on today's lunchtime walk - pleasantly warm in the unexpected, but welcome, sunshine. 🌞

Well another depressingly dull and grey rainy day, so here's a few more photos from a few weeks back, of autumn colours at Sefton Park, Liverpool. 🍁🍃🍂

That TV advert for the AA with the vampires ......

Yes I know I probably have too much time on my hands, for this to annoy me as much as it does, but you can't have a full moon next to a lightening dawn sky can you - a full moon, by definition, must be opposites the sun?

Has me fewmin'! 😡🤣

Not much prospect of walking around West Kirby Marine Lake this morning, well without getting very wet feet anyway, due to the very high tide🌊, so retreated to Ashton Park instead, to enjoy the autumn colours. 🍁🍂🍃

The Dungeon path, between Heswall and Thurstaston. Nice to see the stream flowing again, after being virtually dry all summer.

Another nice sunset earlier, before the fireworks started.

Heswall Dales and the Wirral Way on today's walk.

Had a late appointment up at Audiology, for a hearing aid service, so popped into Arrowe Park beforehand. The trees by Arrowe Hall are looking particularly resplendent 🍂🍁🍃
