📣 Cumbernauld Theatre has been removed from Creative Scotland's portfolio of funded organisations, placing the company, its employees and its vital work with the local community at risk.

At this critical time, we need our community more than ever: lanternhousearts.org/future-at-risk

Decided to forgo the rugby for some different drama this afternoon!
I’ve seen a fair few productions of Macbeth, but this one from @donmarwarehouse.bsky.social has to be up there as one of the best…

Then after refulling with coffee and cake I enjoyed some of their Chinese New Year celebrations, including a dance performance, tour of the collection with a curator and a behind the scenes tour of the museum stores.
Perfect day for an art history geek!

I saw David Harrower’s adaptation of Prime of Miss Jean Brodie there. Great, intimate space.
And enjoy Natasha Pierre, I saw the Broadway productions. A bit bonkers, but great score.

Yes, hopefully.
I’ll be posting all the details of venues in the next couple of months.
Would be great to see you there too Thom.

Stunning retrospective of Everlyn Nicodemus‘s work at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art just now.

I love the chutzpah of her going to the National Museum of Tanzania and demanding they mount an exhibition of her work only six months after she’d started painting!
