I had 9 people participate in the Motus preorder giveaway. They will all be getting a signed copy and other Motus merch as thanks. I had only planned on giving out one piece of merch each and a few signed books, but I wanted to make sure they knew how much I appreciated their support.

Motus will be releasing October 9th and it could really use some early reviews. If you are interested, let me know and I'll send you a link to download the ebook. Honest reviews are appreciated!

As a writer releasing his debut novel, there's always the concern in the back of my mind that everyone will hate it. So it certainly got my heart racing when I saw I had a review left on Goodreads from a Book Sirens sourced ARC reviewer. Social validation for the win!

Motus is available for preorder with all major retailers.
I'm also excited to show off character art. Corun, the main character, is a miner who uncovers an unfamiliar rock in the underground city's path.
If you want to read his story before release, reach out to me about becoming an ARC reviewer.

Motus, is up for pre-order.
When Corun discovers a strange ore in the mines, it can only mean one thing. Their underground city's days are numbered. Their only hope is to find their origins. But for a people who have spent centuries digging, they didn't bury their secrets deep enough.

I got a 3D scanner for Christmas and decided I was going to do a forensic facial reconstruction myself of this alien skull. So as not to damage the original, I scanned it, 3D printed a half scale model, and fleshified half of it using super sculpey. It's almost as creepy as I thought it would be.

This is what happens when you decide to fuse your love of sci-fi with pottery.
It's the skull of a 4-eyed cow/bird/ human alien that I made up as I went.
It would be fun to partner with a modeling clay artist to do a forensic style facial reconstruction. What would it have looked like? #pottery

I just published a paper on mobility impairment in older adults and how sex disparities can be explained by muscle mitochondrial energetics. 🧪

My wife and I have some pottery on display at the local optometrist's office. We've been at it for about a year now.
