An effective brand is like a piece of music, with endless explorations of its expression through performance.

Consistency in applying brand guidelines is building the limits in which genuine artistic creativity can thrive.

Especially for audiences likely seeing your content for the first time...

Really wonderful design!

I would say to also give credit for expanding the in-house concrete team and turning more painted islands into concrete.

Glad to hear it’s inspiring!

Gotta give full credit to the many members of TransAlt Queens who were behind the campaign! (I just happened to be the messenger)

I'm grateful that the Board has signed a letter of support for this proposal, and our neighborhood elected officials like @cmjuliewon.bsky.social, @claireforqueens.bsky.social, and @sengianaris.bsky.social have been steadfast allies.

Let's connect Sunnyside and Woodside!

And protected bike lanes on Greenpoint Av would connect with @nbkta.bsky.social's own plans for Brooklyn's section of Greenpoint Av.

The short jaunt over Newtown Creek is made far longer by infrequent buses and streets that favor speeding trucks over people. We can fix this.

Over in Woodside, extending the 39th Av Bike Blvd would fix the weakest link in a chain of protected bike lanes that goes from the 59th St Bridge to Corona.

Heading up the hill on 69th St towards Maspeth would provide a new transit option for a neighborhood that's a subway desert
December 5, 2025 at 1:26 PM
47th Av would build a new connection to LIC and destinations like LaGuardia Community College. Right now, it's a thruway with sharrows begging to be a neighborhood street.

(See 31st Av for a great example of the transformation we imagine)

Honeywell St and 43rd St cross Sunnyside Yards, and are a hostile pedestrian environment with lots of speeding. 43rd St doesn't even have a sidewalk in places!

Protected bike lanes would cement connections from Sunnyside to Astoria, two neighborhoods kept apart by bad 20th century planning.

To me, its a combination of inertia and not understanding network effects

I'm also noticing a lot more typeface designers specifically have rules against political usage without designer approval.
Instrument Serif - Google Fonts
Instrument Serif is a condensed display font designed for the Instrument brand. It is intended for use at large sizes and offers a contemporary take on some of

Every time a street is cut up should be an opportunity to introduce safety features in concrete. No more rebuilding-in-kind.

This is not the first time she's said this, and it won't be the last.

@nycspeakeradams.bsky.social has the power to stop this hatred through the Council's own disciplinary processes.

Why won't she?
