We also have the problem of people who think bikes are just for recreation, and so they innately feel that the provision of bike facilities is taking away from their important driving so that others can play with their bikes.

Yes, we've known for decades that cars and utes aren't the issue with road damage. Wheels have to get a lot heavier than that before they wreck the roads. Roads are built to handle heavy vehicle traffic, with individual wheel loads at around 1850 kg.

Exactly what I was thinking this morning!! They have plenty of stuff, nobody can really make a case that they SHOULD have it all, and this provides a bit of excitement and something for detectives to do. Plus publicity for the museum!
