Well, I fear for your health, if you think that's amusing. Enjoy your next Pret.

You think consuming most food/drink ISN'T substance abuse? You think the ridiculous glorification of "food" which is essentually poison, is joyful? Mate...

What then?
December 15, 2025 at 10:58 AM
By "joy", do you mean booze? It is so sad that people are so clueless as to what it is doing to them.

Oh, they're already abundant.

A recent piece on RFK’s approach to health policy called it “decision-based evidence-making,” and that seems an apt way to describe this whole administration.

I was sacked over the phone, during my two weeks of bereavement leave because the higher ups thought I was "taking the piss", after Mum died.

Well, they wouldn't, would they. They are all in hock to donors, lobbyists, journalists etc. A cat's cradle of vested interests which means they are forever tangled and unable to move in any of the necessary directions. All they can do is deal with what they can reach, or what is thrust toward them.

Our family home was burgled, in the 90s. Within an hour of reporting, we had four officers and a SOCO dusting for prints etc. They followed up w/ parents re:investigation and found some of our stuff. Can you imagine even getting a response, now?
