Just observed parent scolding a toddler for running around the car on roadside whilst putting other child in car. A common occurrence but the power dynamics are so off. Kids & parents living in fear whilst a driver somehow isn’t expected to be driving slow, watching for & avoid a vulnerable ped?

Currently in a liminal life stage.. on mat ‘leave’ but always on the fringes of work (where are my fellow mum biz owners?) between awake & asleep (teething issues), living in a shell of a house (retrofit is real messy).. feeling v ungrounded. Will blue sky give me a guardrail to another world?!
