This is what I struggle with- these folks who told us for 80 years that we need to sacrifice everything for the sake of capitalism are now talking about ‘values.’ For miller those values aren’t even Adam smith- just pure warlordism.

was reading about the tensions btwn yid. dance halls and theaters and how the unions would sometimes bar dance hall musicians from mmbrship. Not sure where klezmers fell or if it touches on the world of your research.

He’s often doubled, they never call holds and him and still he manages to make a big play at the end of games when they need him. He’s not the one blocking the field goal or getting the sacks this year but he’s behind it.

Defense was on the field way too much, esp considering last years run.

My hot take is that Jalen Carter has had a (pretty) great season, showing up late in the games we won even though he got no credit. The blocked field goal, the dropped pass to Kelce, among others - all had his fingerprints on them.
