The reason Kamala or indeed Hilary before her, the American electorate want a Thatcher if they are going to vote for a woman. Trust me you don’t. I think Kamala would have been a great president. I do believe she would’ve won if Biden hadn’t gone for the 2nd term, changing mid campaign hurt her

As a British citizen of a certain age I have a bad opinion of female politicians. To clarify Thatcher took my milk away when I was in school, she killed the mining industry, she privatised the railways and utilities and screwed a whole generation.

Yes and it’s simple. Most people are paid monthly at the end of the month. However companies generally pay early in December so staff have extra money for the holiday. However that leaves an exceptionally long period between pay days. For example it will be 42 days for me between pay days

I appreciate health and safety is there for a reason, but when I was little I remember seeing footage of Hogmanay with several inches of snow on the ground and high winds and people just got on with having a good time
