I’ve disowned people recently just because they simply ignore facts and truth even though it’s there in front of them.
They seem perfectly normal and one thing they don’t like it’s extreme right wing rhetoric.

Sadly, you’re correct. I have acquaintances that are nice, normal people but once you start talking about racism/immigration they turn into Daily Mail, GBeebies gremlins. There is no point going there. I don’t know what the answer is.

Thirty years on, it's painfully clear the mantra fell short. We've become a fractured nation, with racism at the core of our divisions.
We must have these conversations with family + friends
