Jan Komasa’s #GoodBoy is a truly brilliant addition to #LFF.

Stephen Graham and Anson Boon turn in a dazzling performances in this dark and twisted tale of kidnapping, imprisonment, torture a family ties. With its dark, twisted, but fun storyline, the film is a rare triumph.

Jonatan Etzler’s #BadApples is a rare delight. Saoirse Ronan leads a phenomenal young cast in this audacious commentary of the British Education system.

Part thriller, part comedy, it drags us into the classroom for a sharp, well-layered and brilliantly directed surprise! #LFF

Rian Johnson has hit another home run with #WakeUpDeadMan #KnivesOut - this whodunnit is a banger.

Daniel Craig effortlessly slips back into gear with Josh O’Connor stealing the spotlight from the brilliant ensemble. It’s fun, sharp, witty, and bags of sleuthing fun! #LFF

Joachim Rønning’s #TronAres is an ambitious sequel. Jared Leto performs well on The Grid and elevates the material alongside Greta Lee. The visuals are gorgeous, and the cinematography is superb.

However, neither the score or plot are in the same league as its predecessors.

Majid Al Ansari’s #TheVile is a well-executed horror. The dark and twisted story benefits from some fabulous jump scares and an eerie setting that transforms a loving family home into a paranormal prison.

With its impressive cast, the film is a welcome addition to #LFF

Thomas Ngijol’s #Untamable is an enticing thriller. Exploring the values of a family and tradition in Cameroon, the film excels with an engrossing crime story.

Ngijol also leads the film, and adds some well-layered excellence as the tradition-obsessed police chief. #LFF

Okay, Ion De Sosa’s #BALEARIC is a frustrating spin on the horror/thriller. Two bizarre stories trudge along and amount to nothing.

Sure the stylish atmosphere and scary opening moments hit hard, but the film never gains momentum. This is classic style over substance. #LFF

Clint Bentley’s #TrainDreams is a phenomenal timepiece filled with some of the most gorgeous cinematography you’ll see all year.

Joel Edgerton delivers a phenomenal performance as we experience life, love and tragedy through his weathered eyes. The film is breathtaking. #LFF

Alex Russell’s #Lurker is a satisfyingly uncomfortable watch. Archie Madekwe and Théodore Pellerin shine in this gripping tale of fandom, obsession, possession, and stardom.

Dylan Southern’s #TheThingWithFeathers is an incredible exploration of grief and loss.

Benedict Cumberbatch shines as the widower experiencing loss through a dark, twisted and gothic horror story beautifully conceptualised. It’s a great addition to #LFF

Kleber Mendonça Filho’s #TheSecretAgent is a bold and enticing slice of cinema. Wagner Moura expertly leads a great ensemble cast through the web of corruption in Brazil.

Although the finale fell flat for me, the charming thriller is a worthy addition to the #LFF watchlist.

Kirk Jones’ #ISwear is nothing short of phenomenal.

Robert Aramayo portrays John Davidson with incredible conviction resulting in a wonderfully humorous, heartfelt and emotionally poignant exploration of true life events. This film is a precious rare gem. @studiocanal.co.uk

Derek Cianfrance’s #Roofman is a surprising delight. Channing Tatum delivers a charming performance in a true story that is as bizarre as it is uplifting.

Funny, poignant, balmy and heartwarming, the film is a delightful rare gem. Who knew you could live on M&M’s.

Just caught #TopGunMaverick in 4DX at @cineworld.bsky.social and wow, the film was made all the more enjoyable by the symbiosis with the 4DX effects.

More than a gimmick, 4DX made the film all the more immersive and took us into the cockpit! It’s a real treat.
