Poorer communities pay more for food, with fewer stores and fewer products, reports the Atlanta Fed. That's one reason why our case to stop the Kroger/Albertsons merger was so important. (HT @davidsirota.com). www.atlantafed.org/research/pub...

A great weekend in Boulder, starting with ETown and a Boulder Fight for Colorado Town Hall.

Our campaign is about showing up for, listening to, and working hard to deliver results for all Coloradans. January was a busy month, getting out our message, building grassroots support, and fighting for the people of Colorado. Here it is in one graphic 👇

A great day on the campaign trail—including joining the Denver Dems and the JeffCo Dems—that sandwiched my service as a judge (along with @javiermabrey.bsky.social) for a debate tournament that my son organized. The high school debaters we judged were fantastic, passionate, and inspiring.

Yesterday, I joined the Colorado Water Congress to discuss the important issues ahead for Colorado--on multiple fronts. And it was a great chance to connect with friends from the water community across Colorado. Here are my remarks:

BREAKING—We continue to stand up to the lawless bullying of this administration and fight for Colorado. I am proud of our team’s work that secured a preliminary injunction, preventing USDA Secretary Rollins from taking food benefits away from 600,00 Coloradans. Statement below 👇

At today's 51st Winter Symposium on Addictive Disorders, Behavioral Health, and Mental Health and a Changeline convening in Colorado Springs, I discussed our work in this area--and the need to take our connection crisis seriously. Here are my remarks: coag.gov/blog-post/le...

This was a tough weekend, and spending it in community was important. From joining the Denver Metro Mayors to our JeffCo Fight for Colorado Town Hall to joining the ICE Out protest, I continue to be inspired by Coloradans showing up to fight for a better future.
January 26, 2026 at 5:43 PM
It was important to show up in community for the ICE OUT protest. We are all hurting as we witness a federal government acting in unthinkable ways. We must use our voice to call for an end to these dangerous operations and call for accountability.

Renee Good’s death was a wake up call, and we just got another one this morning. If you are going to have a badge and a gun, you must be trained. Excessive force is a danger, and there must be consequences for illegal actions. My heart is with those in Minneapolis.

Great to join a coalition of consumer advocates for a valuable conversation, where we highlighted the importance of the work we are doing, including addressing junk fees. And proud to receive the No Hidden BS Award for that work.

Nobody is above the rule of law, including federal agents such as ICE or border patrol. Our new reporting form is about keeping our communities safe and reminding them that we have their back. If you see misconduct from a federal agent, please report it to our office.

Great to join the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Marade, marching to call out injustice and for love to crowd out hate.
January 19, 2026 at 8:15 PM
On this Dr. King weekend, I had the opportunity to join the Park Hill United Methodist Church this morning and the Greater Ministerial Alliance Service this afternoon, commemorating Dr. King’s legacy of calling out injustice.

Thanks, @colorado.gov, for acknowledging our work taking on the federal government’s bullying and illegal actions, protecting around $900 million for Colorado through our winning lawsuits.

On Monday, Jan 19th, we celebrate the legacy of Dr. King in Denver with a Marade--a combination parade and march. Please join our team and support the ongoing work for justice and a more inclusive We The People. RSVP here-- secure.ngpvan.com/N1bEqi8MeU6s...

Trump’s Agriculture Secretary tried to cut SNAP benefits for needy Coloradans.

I challenged her in court, won, and got food benefits restored.

Sen. Michael Bennet voted for her and stands by his support of her.

Coloradans want a fighter as our next Governor.
January 13, 2026 at 5:26 PM
As stated in Sat's debate with Sen. Bennet, I filed my 50th lawsuit last week--and we are winning. These wins matter for transgender Coloradans, women, families facing hunger, and our land, air, and water--and are protecting hundreds of millions for CO. www.dailycamera.com/2026/01/11/g...

Today, I announced a lawsuit against the Trump administration, fighting back against the attacks on Colorado. When they threaten NCAR, SNAP benefits, or Colorado families, I will fight back - every time. Defending and fighting for Colorado is my job, and I will never back down.
