That’s why we started referring to people in this position as “drug mules” in the 1980s. Abusing the lethal power of our military to kill people who have no real power in the system perverts our national security into a practice of cruelty instead of a promise of protection.

Wherever political power tries to suffocate the search for truth, Christians should be concerned, because the God we worship is the God of truth, not coercion.
