My last salmon catches of the season from this last weekend! The runs were much later this year due to a lack of rain. Still always a thrilling fight when one of these decides to bite!

Always lots of fun going out with @anyare.art who also helped with netting these and taking photos 🎣

The vet visit was... Not good.

She may have mammary tumors and I'm spending about $600 in tests.

If they come back poorly, she has to get a $6000 surgery to remove all of her glands since the tumors are aggressive.

Caught a Coho salmon for the first time over the weekend! Had some troubles identifying it since it looks pretty similar to a rainbow trout. Really neat to catch a different species!

Salmon fishing was super hot this weekend! Lots of fights and tons of hookups with @anyare.art

We even did our first harvest this year and will be smoking those up, probably next weekend 😁

Salmon fishing was on fire yesterday! Lots of hookups and landed two fish. I also decided to harvest one, so that was an experience! @phiro.bsky.social and I had a great time fishing the fresh run of fish.

Landed my first salmon of the season a few nights ago on a row bag + soft plastic bead! Happy to have caught this girl after assisting @phiro.bsky.social land his! Always a fun time when we both land a Salmon and our firsts of the season back to back! 😁😄🎣
