Went to a parade with my 18 year old college freshmen son who knew much better than his parents about coats and such. The way he shivered was similarly cool. Dare I say, badass?

I appreciate that you chimed in. I’m all for freedom on thought, expression, you name it. It just stings every time I see people hating others for differences in these areas. I love a great debate and critical thought, but just don’t get the depth of divide we’re seeing now.

Agreed. I just mean as a whole; as a bunch of humans sharing space. Is there even a pathway toward focusing on our similarities rather than our differences? I’m not big on giving up on anything, but people like this seem so far gone.

I get so conflicted when I visit pages like his. Here’s a college educated chap w/degrees in anthropology and archeology. He shares recipes and a clear passion for nature and the southwest region. But he also loves the confederacy and threatening people with physical harm? How do we end this?

Did you already block him? Very curious about the 2/4 - is it a fraction or two ends of a spectrum? Why not simplify the fraction? Why not hyphenate the range? Do you think he would clarify if you asked? (I don’t know him as well as you)
