I agree with your general point - this is a wildly false and antisemitic invoking of “blood libel” by Vance. But I respectfully disagree with the “definitionally” part. Some antisemites are right now engaging in blood libel against Jews, whose leaders really are doing war crimes in Gaza.

Can I ask what this is about? My memory from those days is of MG as a competent leader of a DOJ team that carefully and successfully prosecuted that case and obtained the death penalty.
