CinGray was so good I gave in and re-downloaded Pretty Derby so I could pull for Tamamo when her banner drops. My new years resolution of locking in and focusing on my goals isn't off to a great start since I didn't even make it a week without re-downloading a gatcha.

One of the things the Dandadan anime has made me appreciate even more is the Dandadan manga English translator. Not that the anime's subs are bad, but the manga translator really knocks it out of the park with their word choices in a way that just makes the anime subs feel a bit bland in comparison.

Thanksgiving cooking day 1 complete - turkey stock, pumpkin pie, and sourdough bread complete, as well as turkeys spatchcocked and dry brining with compound butter. Turkeys, taters, gravy, veggies, and rolls tomorrow.

Fall vacay booked! Will be very nice to get out of the Texas heat at the end of summer, plus a couple of much needed weeks as far away as possible from the US.

Went to see Ice Nine Kills live a couple days ago. Incredible show, they put on an exceptional live performance. It had been way too long till I went to a metal show too, such awesome energy you just don't get in other genre concerts.

Weird anime-related first-time-for-everything I noticed today - for the first anime season ever the service I'm watching the most simulcasts from isn't Crunchyroll or HiDive or even Netflix, but Amazon Prime. Never woulda guessed that'd ever happen.

Getting everything I wanted hardware-wise and more than I could have expected software-wise. A new Kirby Air Ride would have been an insane idea, but (definitely not) Bloodborne 2?!?!?! Absolute lunacy. I'm ready for the price tag to hurt but I'll accept the pain.
