I've spent all morning making ggplot cross plots of confusing min/geochem on billion year old+ rocks and I have no idea what's going on but GOSH DO I LOVE DOING IT. Anyway if anyone wants to explain to me why there's an inverse relationship btwn TOC & kaolinite hit me up

One of my favorite things about this project, and so much of my work, is the vast array of scales in which the work takes place - from outcrops to electron microscopes. Here's a scanning electron microscope image of one of these apatite scale microfossils, showing bonkers sub-micron scale detail.
