My daughter attends a forest school that’s exactly like this, as part of our home education curriculum. The first time I took her I cried, it felt so magical. Exactly the type of place for learning to occur. I also felt sad that the majority don’t get to experience it.

I don’t even believe they think it’s ’confusing’. They’re just hatful people. As you said, being queer and talking about queerness doesn’t sexualise children. It’s not difficult, but they just want to find an excuse to hate.

The fact this is a conversation that still needs to be had is so frustrating, although unfortunately not surprising. As a parent to a 9 year old, she finds it about as confusing as 1+1
