I understand what you are saying, but I guess, to be more blunt, you want people to be more specialized in those fields to deliver the best service possible. And the certs I mentioned are extensive in their upkeep. Not just getting the hours to maintain them but actual use in the field.

That’s a tough thing to do when it comes to obtaining and maintaining all the certifications. The responsibilities of Fire alone can include Fire, Rescue, EMS, and Hazmat. And there are varying degrees of certification within those. I’ve seen what you are talking about but mostly in smaller areas.

I remember a lot of fans hating the color scheme and saying they looked like the Bears. I also remember Neil Smith saying he liked them better than the old ones and it played a role in him signing.

That’s what they would say, but then we got the Patriot Act in 01’ as well. The “Conservative Code” was always a bunch of horseshit.

I agree with all the points you make. But even before the Dobbins injury, they just seem to play to the level of their competition. I don’t know how else to describe it. I would love to see them blow the doors off the Raiders next week, but I’m expecting more of the same.
