Fiona, whom I found [or found me?] via a website called 'ModelMayhem' in 2010. She wanted to get into modeling, I wanted experience and had just gotten my first DSLR.

I've always thought she kinda looked like Avril Lavigne.

Dallas, 2016

During this time I was taking photos of walls for an Instagram project — "Walls of Dallas" www.instagram.com/dallas_walls — and my goal was to capture the walls in an extremely two-dimensional way.
A metal door in a brick wall, both painted over with the same baby blue paint. It's a very monochromatic photo, with just a sliver of the ground showing at the bottom of the frame.

So a fun thing I'm learning — that I also learned when I did this project on Instagram — is that I have a lot of images in my archive that are mostly junk.

Out of focus, taken by accident, just absolute rejects.

Kinda makes me think I need to spend some time just doing general cleanup
