Esquie is easily a top 3 video game characters of all time for me. Instantly fell in love on my first playthrough.

I don't know the last time I used lights this often. I'm breaking them out almost every shot! Gosh this photo mode is fun.

2hrs in and I haven’t left Lumière. This is the way I always wanted to play this game. Slower, and taking in all the rich detail.

Made it all the way to the tower and beyond. There is truly no limit!

Like holy shit this is awesome. I LOVE when devs let you off the rails like this.

Welp I’m hooked again. The camera range is NUTS in this photo mode. Here goes another play through!

Genuinely exhausted with how many games I’ve beat this year only for them to add a photo mode months later.

KCD2, Alters, and now 33! Well, it’s amazing. Camera range is near limitless and the tools are fantastic. Might do a replay.

SHAME on me for forgetting this. Sword of the Sea is definitely top 3 best games I played this year!

I played a ton of games this year and this would be my personal pick for GOTY nominees. Great year for some very unique titles!

2nd is where it gets interesting and a little confusing. Basically any camera movement is also applying shutter speed post “shot” so to speak. Any movement will act as if that’s the movement you did when taking the image with that shutter speed. Can produce cool effects though! Less is more here.

Until then, a quick example of two applications:

1st image is how I’ll prob use it which is not moving the camera once composed and relying on particles/environment to give me motion blur. This is replicating how snapping a camera at 1/30 all the way down to 8 seconds would capture fast motion.
