I tend to think of people in my street photos as a representation of humanity, not their own personal selves. This seems to help with those feelings of being intrusive.

I'm going to stick with a sports watch until the battery situation improves. You can get several weeks of use on a single charge, plus phone notifications and media controls on one. Looks, of course, are not for everyone.

bathing the children, playing tennis, chatting to our friends over a pint and a game of darts—not huddled together like frightened sheep and thinking about bombs. They may break our bodies (a microbe can do that) but they need not dominate our minds.
