Berwick-Upon-Tweed coastal view with two Lowry subjects.
Bandstand with more modern seating sits in a grass field surrounded on three sides by a wire fence, on the left of the image. A second field of just grass is in the right hand foreground. Two thirds of the top of the image is the sky which is sunny with puffy clouds, in the far distance is the lighthouse.

Berwick-Upon-Tweed lighthouse which appears in work by L.S.Lowry.
Built at the end of the 877 metre long breakwater protecting the entrance to the River Tweed and Berwick Harbour, the Berwick Lighthouse has been welcoming seafarers for nearly 200 years since it was completed in 1826. At a height of 13.5 metres it is also a major landmark in the town and the distinctive red and white colouring has featured on many pictures and photographs over the years, not least in the iconic painting by L S Lowry which has resulted in a walk out to the lighthouse being an essential part of the town’s renowned Lowry Trail. I have a new camera bag. I was in a quandary about ordering it because it's from Peak Design and I am boycotting all things American. I have reconciled my purchase because I bought it from a small independent camera shop as ex-display. They had had it since Biden was Pres.

Ain't going nowhere fast
An old VW Beetle is parked outside the Cutty Sark Inn in Eyemouth, UK. Sitting in the driver's seat of the car is a life size model of a skeleton. There is a sign in the window of the car advertising Fish and Chips for £10 at the Inn. It appears the car probably hasn't moved for a long time, although the tyres are all inflated. The car park is public and at the back of the Inn.

Widows and Bairns; created by Jill Watson and commissioned by The 125 Memorial Association, this sculpture commemorates the Eyemouth Widows and Bairns left behind by the great storm of October 14th 1881 which took 189 men, leaving 107 widows and 351 fatherless children.

Been experimenting with DXO, can't say I'm sold on it. Seems a lot of money to get similar results to the free Nikon software. Perhaps I'm missing something.
Old boat shed in Dysart near Kirkcaldy which has a collection of signs and other nautical recoveries attached all over it, from boat signs to bicycles and buoys.

Outwith the commercial realm, who honestly needs 102MP sensors? I mean, hardly anyone prints and if they do then they're printing to A1 a maximum? I've printed from 10MP to A2 perfectly successfully, exhibited it, and sold it. I thought the pixel race was over and dynamic range was the real target
