lol, the 1 and 2 buttons can be programmed to auto launch apps, but only official ones, so not the two apps I use most and would want bound the most

This is pretty good as far as gifts go, useful but not so much that I’d ever want to buy one for myself.
The golden zone for gifting

Ooh it lights up!

I wanted a new remote to replace one we lost for the living room specifically, but this one’s nicer, I wonder if it’s any trouble to use this in my room and repair my room’s remote to the living room?

The text to speech voice acting you have to wait until they finish reading out to you to advance was bad enough but now more and more of these are just having these pointless videos where they can fit

Although, I have been hankering for a sandwich, and delis *do” open early 👀

The only drawback was that they had a tight timeframe for delivery, which I hear wasn’t a great time on the animators DWA worked with.
But hey. In an era where Netflix takes 2-3 years to deliver 12 episodes of things, DreamWorks was pumping out 26 a year

It was always a deal extremely in DreamWorks favor which is why they took it.
The first 12 shows they made even had 52/78 episode orders guaranteed in advance so they never had to sweat getting cancelled early.

I assume so, though in Canada they mostly went to syndication on family channel before it went under

Specifically it’s just the nature of the contract Dreamworks and Netflix have.
All of the shows they produce for Netflix are licensed to Netflix for up to 6 years after they finish their run, after which the rights go back to Dreamworks to do what they want with them.

Is it weird I both didn’t like that but also miss that in general it doesn’t feel like we have any characters that I regularly see and remember

Had that one go on me once. Some kid in all black jaywalking across a busy street at night.
The crossing light wasn’t even that far away 😭
