Well, there is the gall to explicitly tell researchers not to use AI for peer review while the publishers upload every draft that we submit to their in house AI for "extraction purposes"... Effectively building training databases off of unpublished works with no possibility for opt out.

Don't remember the tech companies pouring quite so much capex into 3D printing, TBH. Or a major 3D printmaker comprising a large portion of the S&P 500. Or access to printers being regulated by US policy as a bargaining chip.

The materials being poured into this will have a global effect...
