Yes. I had worked for both Federal and DC government - multiple agencies, for a couple decades, at some of the most stressful/chaotic agencies imaginable. I had NEVER seen the level of chaos, CORRUPTION, illegality, and DYSFUNCTION, as I did after Trump took office the first time. Never again.

OPM was horrible in 2019 when it was 'fully staffed' and must be 10x worse now after being DOGE-ed and so many career workers let go. THAT blame is all on Trump this time.

There would be no such thing as ACA or Obamacare without Nancy Pelosi. She passed something nobody every believed could ever be passed, and Chuck's worthless self can't even PRESERVE what she passed.

ALL politicians enrich themselves, but there would be NO ACA without Nancy Pelosi. To say she 'wasn't doing anything good with it' is a bit of a stretch if the entire government has been shutdown at least TWICE (this year and in 2013), to Save the ACA, which was enacted because of PELOSI

OPM threatening to launch a Congressional investigation to 'twist their arm' and get my paperwork released. His office staff actually CALLED me directly several times with follow-up questions & frequent updates until it was resolved. NEITHER of my Senators ever responded to my emails/calls.

This is True. I worked for the Federal Govt until Aug 2019 when I took a Deferred Retirement due to the first Trump Administration chaos. It was NUTS! When I had major problems getting some of my necessary post-exit paperwork for Health Insurance, etc, it was my House Rep (Don Beyer) that called

Ask Haiti, Iran, Iraq, and dozens of other countries that saw abrupt REMOVAL of the people in charge when the military did not get paid. The military will do the work FOR you if their paychecks stop.

I wasn't expecting the GOP to relent. AGAIN "small brain" thinking. IF THE MONEY ran out enough that they could no longer afford to pay the *military*, there would be No Trump or GOP any longer. The FASTEST way to remove a dictator is to TURN the military against them

Yes. There are things WORSE than missing a paycheck. Ask the people in Europe that didn't survive the Holocaust because everyone ignored the warning signs and failed to see the BIG PICTURE until it was too late. What good is a paycheck if you end up in a concentration camp....or worse?

This is not a 'path forward'. This is BACK where we started from 40 days ago, only with people having missed checks, missed snap payments, and still not ACA subsidies...just a 'promise' of an 'ACA' vote 'in the future' that we already know will FAIL due to lack of votes.
