9/11 always hits hard. Today also hit hard, along with all of the political violence we have seen in recent years (never mind gun violence). I’m tired of just accepting this as a normal way of life. We should be embarrassed and should strive for better.

As a mentor in this program from its onset I have seen first hand how positive this experience is on our students and how beneficial it is for our institution and beyond.
QC's URISE grant got a stop work order from #NIH. URISE is successor to NIH's MARC program, and QC has participated in this program for >18 years. QC's URISE/MARC has mentored >100 future PhD students, many are now active researchers. This is how you kill the STEM talent pipeline in the USA.

Figured my first post should be something positive: First attempt at croissants was a success. Yes, the uniformity could use some work, but overall, I am pleased!
