Well, as of earlier this evening, the NYT is reporting 80 dead. Per the Venezuelan press (Ultimas Noticias), there were many civilian casualties as well as homes destroyed.

Per the NYT, an anonymous “high ranking Venezuelan official” said there were at least 40 dead.

Wherever she is, she’s smart to keep her head down. Of course, she is constitutionally Maduro’s successor, & supposedly, a strong Maduro loyalist. It’s curious Rubio thinks she will work with him - he’s either naive or has some interesting intel.
