4. Skydance wants IPs with 'built-in fandoms.", much like Tramsformers One, and their animation style complements it very well.

5. Lorenzo di Bonaventura has already mapped out all three movies. Extensively.

So if Paramount revisits, now they have something to work with instead of starting over.

3. Hasbro pulling out just means Paramount can focus on making creative decisions for the movies without a toy deadline or Hasbro lurking over their shoulders.

1. The announcement said there were no CURRENT or ONGOING plans for a sequel.

2. Paramount's animation is being RESTRUCTURED under the upcoming merger with Skydance, bringing all of it under a single unit, which means a delay in recent things while they focus on that.
