I never was able to get a subscription to the various gaming magazines back in Ye Olden Times, but treasured the ones I was lucky enough to get. Now that I have the money to support good writing, I am happy to do so!

For me, Destiny was a place to do some co-op shooty-shoot with my spouse so yes, getting the expansion was a way to keep playing with them. Once the main story was done in 2024, my non-interest in loot drops meant that there was nothing left for me and others like me to do. Big problem for Bungie!

Thank you for telling me about this! I switched to Apple Music to get better audio quality and a provider that wasn't actively shovelling money at Joe Rogan. I'll gladly switch to a service that pays their artists better, though!

After spending some time recently playing games from around 1998/1999, the prospect of going back to using random developers around the studio seems not too terrible. If we're going back to smaller productions, why not enjoy some lower production value?
