Lucy Ball. Dogs assume this position to minimise heat loss before sleep. Lucy does it instinctively for about 5 minutes each night before her body catches on she lives in a centrally heated house.

We have some interesting old trees in England. This one at the Croft Estate was grown from a sweet chestnut taken from a captured Spanish Armada ship c 1580s. (Liz I was here). Our labrador Lucy for scale.
