Don't underestimate an enemy just because they don't look intimidating. Also get as many scadutree blessing levels as possible

I love this! I am not generally very good at videogames but I love gathering up everything I can learn about them, to make it a bit easier

I think that having multiple options to make a difficult fight easier, depending on how much time or work you want to put in, isn't bad game design. Especially when some strategies can be limited in their application, like Margit's shackle

Good luck with the dlc! A lot of the bosses tend to be pretty reactive (and tend to just move a lot in general) so it can be hard to hit spells, so it'll definitely be a challenge!

It can absolutely be cheesed, you just have to put in a bit more prep work cause the health bars are bigger

You have a point with the snowfields. I feel like it's the high scaling mixed with irritating enemy types. I tend to skip through it as fast as I can cause I don't like sticking around that area

The first roadblock I ever hit on my first elden ring playthrough was fire giant! And the yea the dlc bosses can be a little ridiculous

I personally think shadow of the erdtree adds some really incredible bosses and cool weapons, but it is also very difficult. I'm pretty sure the scaling of the first area is higher than the haligtree

I'm curious, do you consider crumbling farum azula part of the back half as well? Or just the haligtree adjacent areas
